Authenticity

Authenticity means being true to one's own personality, spirit, or character.

Last year a potential client suggested that everyone in the financial services industry is the same. There may be some truth to that, but when people first meet me, Brett Anderson, they discover that's not true.

That conversation put me on a quest to better define my authenticity. The journey begin with analyzing what my clients have in common: Many are married, some are not. Many have children, some do not. Many own a business, some do not. Many wanted to help their children fund college; some believe their children need to do it on their own.

So ultimately what was the common bond? Overwhelming, it turned out to be Saturdays. Saturday is the day we all are free for the things most important to us on a personal level.

My goal is to help my clients achieve 365 Saturdays each year through purposeful financial success and independence, Brett Anderson says.

That individual who sent me on my personal quest is a client today.
